Hemmy So

Hemmy So is a Korean American writer originally from Pasadena, Texas. Her fiction work appears in Witness (winner of the 2024 Witness Literary Award), The Good Life Review (runner-up for the 2023 Honeybee Prize), and Redivider. She has received support from the Sewanee Writers’ Conference and Kenyon Review Writers' Workshop. She is fiction reader for The Rumpus and a prose reader for Chestnut Review. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband, two young sons, and an affectionate terrier.
